Anne McConomy
College Director
Anne is a critical care nurse with over 20 years of experience.
She started Care College in 2016 to fill a need for quality healthcare and first-aid training in Jersey. Her first-hand experience and commitment to improving standards of care make Anne an excellent tutor.
Megan O'Connor
COLLEGE DIRECTOR
Megan is a registered nurse with a background in Trauma, Acute Care, Orthopaedics, and Older Adult Care.
Megan holds Nursing and Midwifery Council tutor status, a Master in Education, and a Registered Manager’s Award. She is also a senior First Aid instructor.
NUNO NUNES
TRAINER & ASSESSOR
Nuno supports the delivery of our Moving & Handling courses.
His background is in care management and supporting individuals with Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, Elderly Care, Alcohol Misuse, Dementia, Brain Injury, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and Challenging Behaviours.
LUKE STONE
RQF MANAGER
Luke joined us after studying his Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care and Level 3 Assessing Competence in the Working Environment Diploma with us.
Luke has more than six years experience of working in a care setting and is passionate about quality care. He manages the delivery of our RQF Social Care courses.
Jo Stephens
Trainer & Assessor
Jo is a qualified Physiotherapist with a wide range of experience in hospital and community care.
Jo specialises in Moving & Handling, Frailty & Falls Prevention, Pressure Area Care, First Aid, & Oral Care.
EMMA ROBERTS
TRAINER & ASSESSOR
Emma joined Care College after studying her Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care and Level 3 Award in Education and Training with us.
Emma has a decade of experience in education and is also a service manager in a third sector provision.
HONOR BLAIN
TRAINER
Honor supports us in delivering the Level 5 RQF and with bespoke training for care providers.
She has 40+ years of community and acute nursing, people management, operational management, strategic planning and teaching experience.
Registered Nurse, Bachelor of Science (Hons), PG Cert; Master of Science (MSc), Cert in Professional Medication.
