You will leave with your PowerPoint presentations that you will write with expert guidance and support.

These are excellent materials you can adapt to use in your training. As a result, you will have the competence to deliver up-to-date moving and people handling training so that, risks are reduced to employees and patients/residents, AND the risks of prosecution or litigation are reduced.


Trainer Experience and Qualifications

Care College employs the most up-to-date people moving and handling training techniques. All our expert trainers have the required certification, knowledge, and experience, including:

  • Five years minimum health and or safety training OR professional nursing experience, Physio and OT experience
  • RosPa level 3 and 4 Key trainers in safe moving & handling with an emphasis on safe single-handed care techniques.
  • Manual Handling and People Handling Trainer Qualification
  • AET – Award in Education and Training & equivalent teacher training qualification


Our Train the Trainer course is delivered and written by accredited trainers with proven and appropriate qualifications and experience.

Care College Moving and Handling Train the Trainer course is designed and delivered following national standards, good practice, and official guidance.

The course meets all legislative requirements and is supported entirely by our indemnity insurance.

We revise all training courses annually or whenever legislation or guidance changes, whichever is the sooner.
