Our Administer Medication & Monitor Effects course covers safe handling of medicines, administering medication to individuals and monitoring the effects.

Learners must complete a theory session taught by a trained nurse and supporting workbook. This together with assessment in practice area required to pass.
Course content:
- Understand legislation, policy, and procedures relevant to the administration of medication.
- Know about common types of medication and their use.
- Understand procedures and techniques for the administration of medication.
- Prepare for the administration of medication.
